Neighborhood Soccer

Neighborhoods Soccer League in Jerusalem 

We are proud to have extended our multicultural workshops to hundreds of Jewish and Arab young soccer players of the ‘Hapo'el Katamon’ Soccer Club, coming from all quarters of Jerusalem, East and West. 

These players, training at the Hapo'el Katamon Soccer Club, which operates an innovative program, building bridges between communities in conflict. Our workshops have promoted multicultural acquaintance between children, members of both communities. The young players were encouraged to examine stereotypes and prejudices, fostering the invaluable potential of sports and highlighting cooperation and teamwork.

By such work we are creating a fertile ground for tolerance and reconciliation. We are grateful to the young participants who have shown us once again that in spite of all odds, they are willing to try a new and a better way.
